Full Stack Developer

SigmaTech Limited is looking for a Full Stack Developer with around 3 years of professional experience to join our small, remote-first engineering team. You'll work across the stack on client projects and internal products — building UIs, APIs, and the infrastructure that connects them. What you'll do: - Build and ship features across the frontend and backend of web applications, from database schema to polished UI. - Develop responsive, accessible interfaces using React / Next.js and TypeScript. - Design and implement REST APIs and server-side logic in Node.js. - Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres, MongoDB) — schema design, queries, and performance. - Collaborate directly with designers and other engineers on a small team where you'll own features end to end. - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code review. What we're looking for: - ~3 years of professional experience building full-stack web applications. - Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals; solid experience with React or a similar frontend framework. - Experience building and consuming REST APIs; comfortable with Node.js on the backend. - Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD basics. - Good written communication — you'll work with a distributed team and sometimes talk directly to clients. Nice to have: - Experience with Next.js specifically. - Exposure to cloud/hosting platforms (Vercel, AWS, or similar). - Prior experience at a small studio/agency shipping multiple client projects.
